These electronic portfolios developed by undergraduate and graduate students in the College of Education at Valdosta State University demonstrate professional growth during various stages of their teacher education process. The organizational structures for portfolio development are based upon undergraduate College of Education Conceptual Framework Principles and graduate College of Education Conceptual Framework Propositions, criteria that describe characteristics and attributes of beginning and masters' level teachers.

Students entering the teacher education preparation program begin the development of their portfolio in MSED 2000, Introduction to Educational Concepts. Narratives and artifacts are added during the two years of professional preparation course work. Students are expected to write narratives and select artifact examples from course work and field work that demonstrate their development of teaching abilities within the undergraduate or graduate Frameworks.

These works are in progress. The students will continue to demonstrate progress throughout their professional careers, either by these or other portfolios. The ability to reflect upon teaching practices, seek opportunities for professional growth, and work toward meeting the learning needs of all students are life time teaching goals.

The portfolios are grouped by majors and within each major are in alphabetic order by student name.
